Network Marketing Lead Generation

If you’ve had anything to do with the network marketing industry at all, you will know that Network Marketing Lead Generation is one of the biggest issues to face Network Marketers in terms their long term success within the industry. Call it what you will, prospecting, lead generation or building your names list, the fact of the matter is that to be successful within the MLM or network marketing industry you need leads!

To some degree, your ability to expose people to your business is going to be directly proportional to your success within the network marketing industry. However if you talk in terms of Network Marketing Lead Generation, then this really is quite different to prospecting or building your names list. Network Marketing Lead Generation is the process of generating leads through attracting them to you or your business, unlike prospecting which is building a connection with someone to introduce them to the concept of network marketing.

There are really only two ways you can go about Network Marketing Lead Generation and that is to do it yourself or to get someone else to do it for you. My personal belief is that if you intend to be successful within the MLM industry, then you really need to take care of this yourself as lead generation is really one of the key functions of a network marketer. Generally if you have had any exposure to the industry you will realise that prospecting or building your names list is difficult or even to the point that it may not be something you can see yourself doing, ever.

In any case, you do have the option of learning internet attraction marketing for your Network Marketing Lead Generation. In other words you can learn how to generate leads (usually free leads), by branding yourself as a leader, whilst creating cash flow for yourself, enough leads to continue to keep growing your business as strongly as you like and thereby ensuring your long term success.

Free MLM Help

Want free help in MLM? Gees it isn’t really that hard to find is it? There are plenty of leaders and pretend leaders that are willing to lend their time to you; the catch is you just have to join their MLM. The fact of the matter is the MLM industry is made of people volunteering their time for free, obviously for the purpose of growing a downline.

As someone that is looking for free MLM help, you should realise this, but the main thing that is important for you is that you need to be able to objectively decide what it is that you want to achieve within the industry, and what system, company or training is going to move you toward the land of your financial/lifestyle dreams. The major problem here is that you face extreme bias in opinion from some very strong and convincing leaders within the industry, in which 90% of people end up worse off than when they started in MLM.

So really before you make any decisions I suggest, researching the company, researching your potential team and also working out what sort of training is available for you. Ultimately, yes you do want free MLM help, but you want the right sort of free MLM help. If you’ve read any of my other posts before on network marketing you’ll know that I’m a big advocate of new and online methods of networking, this is because this is where I see the future of the industry and a genuine solution to the marketing problems encountered by traditional networkers. For more of my recent posts on network marketing check out http://markblomeley.com/category/network-marketing/

When you get into an MLM you are generally going to be told by your upline what to do, how to do it, and if you don’t do it you’ll be unsuccessful. If you were to take one thing away from this article today is that you need to at least investigate alternatives that are available. I don’t care if you follow what I do or not, but either way you can get access to my free video training series on, online network marketing methods by going to http://www.MLMFunnelFormula.com.

From there you can get my free videos and then I’ll gladly to point you in the right direction of some other resources and also you can find some other great resources simply by searching around online.

MLM Network Marketing Training

Wondering if there was a better way to do MLM/Network Marketing Training, than your company is currently teaching you? Where the hell do you find MLM/Network Marketing Prospects other than your immediate sphere of influence? Wondering if it’s possible to be successful in MLM/Network Marketing if I don’t follow my upline?

If you answered yes, to these questions then you simply are not alone. There have been many, many people asking themselves the exact same questions, and today I’m going to share with you today, how you can do MLM/Network Marketing Training differently than you may ever have expected or seen before.

Let’s be perfectly honest, 95% of network marketers fail to ever achieve a full time income within the industry. This a true statistic and it’s one that traditional network marketers will brush off as simply people not been right for the industry or not committing of themselves enough to the industry. You can really say what you want about this statistic but in my experience this lack of success comes down to three key reasons, it’s either a lack of MLM/Network Marketing Training, a lack of qualified prospects and/or a lack of cash flow in their business.

Through this analysis and if we analyse ourselves in general, a majority of people are not geared towards long term achievement, but are focused on short term results. As an industry, this is a major problem as the industry is very much geared towards short term work for long term, often very long term gains and it’s hard for many people to continue on this basis without promise that they will be successful.

Therefore, as someone that is keen to achieve financial freedom through the MLM industry, ultimately it is better for you to be exposed and to educate yourself into other ways of marketing YOUR business, so that you can take ownership and be up to date with industry benchmarks. By blindly following a system your company puts together closes out all other options for success in the industry and goes against all traditional business principles. Ultimately some things are going to work better for other people and if you are finding something isn’t working for you then it’s your responsibility to find an alternate path without altering the goal.

The industry has undergone a major growth of network marketers moving their business online and as this moving is happening it is your responsibility to your business and your downline to investigate this trend. Ultimately there is a little bit more MLM/Network Marketing Training involved than traditional methods, but you can increase your cash dramatically and quickly, have an endless supply of prospects and you’ll have the expertise to replicate your results in any industry and business. Finally you will not only be a network marketer but you’ll be a marketer!

I have put together a free video training course that can at least help you to get on track. So feel free to check it out here: http://www.mlmfunnelformula.com.

All the best.

Business Opportunity Leads

I regularly get asked the question, “how do you get more leads for your business opportunity?”. Look to be honest this question has been asked since the beginning of the MLM industry has began, and in a traditional MLM or Business Opportunity sense, this will always be the case. There are many systems, organisations and trainings that will claim to teach you, give you or help you to generate business opportunity leads, today I want to give you the options and then you can choose what way best fits you.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the people who succeed within the industry have become a leader, it’s a simple as that, no matter how many business opportunity leads that you have or don’t have is only a small percentage of what is truly going to be related to your overall success within the industry. Ultimately it all starts at becoming a leader first, displaying leadership qualities and directing, helping and coaching your leads, prospects, customers and distributors how to do the same.

Leadership aside, the big question these days is how do you market your business opportunity? Do you go the traditional path that most MLM companies suggest and speak to your friends and family and then learn how to prospect? Well I’ll bet that if you’re reading this article then there’s a good chance that you’ve already tried this and it hasn’t worked for you. So here are your options now:

1. Genealogy Lists
You can purchase or sometimes get for free Business Opportunity leads of people that have been involved with MLM companies previously, generally you can get these from failed MLMs. My experience here is that these leads tend to be out of date and you can end up calling a whole lot of people with negligible results.

2. Traditional Prospecting
Ah yes, traditional MLM 101, creat your own business opportunity leads. You see people everywhere, in the supermarket, petrol station, beach, hiking, just go and talk to them. Ok, this can work but again very, very time consuming and who really wants to be prospecting everywhere you go?

3. Cold Calling
Many businesses conduct cold calling at some point in time, but the problem with MLM Cold Calling is that there is not a lot of respect for the industry among traditional business owners. You can spend hours upon hours doing this, meeting with them, coaching them but hey the most important thing to business owners is their business, it’s very hard for them to justify dropping their business or scaling back their business to do MLM. Whatever industry you’re in cold calling sux.

4. Online Marketing
Ok, let’s face it online network marketing has certainly experienced massive growth over the past 5 or 6 years and has gained a lot of traction. The main principle behind this is attracting leads to you through smart business marketing methods that have been applied in every other industry for decades. You get business opportunity leads that are attracted to you and come to you for a reason. Obviously these are the kind of leads you want but you’ve really got to be prepared to learn, be mentored and stick at it. If you do these three things then you can seriously dominate any MLM.

Whatever way you choose to acquire your business opportunity leads, it should fit with your goals and objectives within the industry. If you’re just really dabbling then choose some of the first 3 methods, you’ll invest less time learning and more time doing and may see some ok initial results. Online marketing is for the leaders, the doers, the learners and also willing to follow. Initially, if you try to go it alone going through trainings then your success may be limited, but you can counteract his by learning under an online network marketing leader that can mentor you to tremendously fast success.

Enjoy your day!

The importance of relationship building for your MLM Sales Funnel

Ok, I’ve written a lot about building online structures, whether its websites, aspects of your sales funnel or generating traffic, however one of the most important aspects of your MLM sales funnel is your ability to build relationships with those people that visit your website and that are on your list.

No matter what you’re doing online whether its traffic generation, building/launching products or product delivery your long term online success is always going to stem back to your ability to build relationships. As you know and I’ve said before your no matter what your business, 80% of your business is going to come from 20% of your customers. If you can’t establish this loyal 20% of customers then you will be forever fighting an uphill battle to Sales Funnel Success within MLM industry.

Therefore whenever you do something online, create something, post something or speak to someone you have to always keep this principle in mind and approach your list or your customers from a relationship building point of view. I guess you could say that this principle is very seldom talked about but always implied or assumed that you understand this. However I wanted to highlight to you to make sure that you do this, because it’s an extremely important part to ANY business, MLM being no exception.

So how do you do it? You should be approaching every situation online with giving people value and in particular each person should be leaving more informed, more enlightened, enriched and/or have a higher degree of understanding. Additionally your personality needs to shine through in your posts, your products and your website. Don’t be afraid to let people see the real you, because when it comes to your MLM sales funnel, nothing is more attractive to someone that been able to relate to the leader that is teaching them.

You need to become a leader, become dedicated to helping people to succeed, providing outstanding customer service and at the same time having fun and letting people see you for who you are.

What should you outsource for your MLM Sales Funnel

When it comes to internet marketing, outsourcing seems to get talked about a lot, but often people enter into doing this with very little plan for how they are going to manage their staff and what exactly you want the outsourcer to do. Ok, if you’re just starting out or even if you’ve been round a while but not had much success, then your top priority both now and potentially in the next 12 to 24 months is effectively developing your MLM sales funnel.

So you may or may not have established that you need to expand your network marketing sales funnel. If you haven’t then I recommend learning more about developing a MLM Sales Funnel (Insert link). However, if you have ultimately decided that you need to get more sales, cash or leads into your business obviously this is going to be done through further development of your sales funnel.

The number one priority for any network marketer beginning to develop their online business, is to determine what their strengths and weaknesses are when it comes to online and for that matter offline skills. In other words you really need to be doing things that you are good at or if you’re unsure about that, then its things that will make you more money. For a network marketer generally that will be creating products, finding new and improved ways of generating traffic and building relationships.

Ultimately when it comes to internet marketing, the process can be broken down into industry research, creating products, building websites/graphics, generating traffic, product delivery, customer service and sales/monetization. To be honest any and every step in this process can be outsourced, however when you are just beginning in this industry, this is simply not an option. Therefore I would highly recommend beginning with outsourcing building websites/graphics, in particular the more complex parts of websites, like html, css, including sales pages. This will ultimately help you with conversions.

Beyond that you should begin to generate traffic, find what works well then outsource these so that you can concentrate on new ways to generate traffic and increase conversions. Additionally put in place a good customer service person, who can trouble shoot customer problems and deal with servicing the customers. You can eventually expand from there but that is without a doubt the best places to start.

Traditional Network Marketing vs Online Network Marketing: A personal account

Firstly, I sincerely want to put two sides of this issue forward as this is one of the continually hotly debated topics amongst traditional network marketers and online network marketers, but at the same time I will be giving my personal account and obviously my point of view.

Now, I come from a unique standpoint in the fact that I started off as a traditional network marketer, moved to become an online network marketer then directed back to traditional but now am back online. So it’s fair to say that I have seen both sides of network marketing retrospectively and in context.

As a personal opinion I believe that the industry does hold the key for a lot of people to creating financial freedom for themselves. There is no other business or investment that is so accessible in terms of time or money commitment and that holds both the key to the success and failure for everyone within the industry.

When I first got involved in this industry, I immediately saw the potential and the capability that this business model has for anyone willing to put in the work to make it work. However as many have experienced it doesn’t take long for reality when trying to build a network marketing business.

No matter what way you look at it there are very few people that are interested or motivated to grow this business model. Many people have heard of it, a percentage a willing to take a look, but of those willing to take a look about 5% make any sort of meaningful income out of it. The question is why?

Let’s be honest for a second, 95% of the turnover in this industry comes from traditional network marketing, so its still very much ahead of online methods. Therefore really traditional network marketing, at this point in time must shoulder the blame for these bad statistics, because surely not every one of the 95% that doesn’t succeed are the wrong people? My point here isn’t to point the finger at traditional network marketing, it is to highlight the fact that something is wrong, these statistics speak volumes and you simply can’t dismiss these people as the wrong people.

As I said above I moved away from online methods to traditional network marketing for a small amount of time for a number of reasons, but primarily it was going through the internet marketing learning process alone and because I was convinced by my upline that its not duplicatable. Ah ha! That right there is the biggest argument that traditional network marketers use that falls outside their system.

After giving traditional network marketing another concerted effort and evaluating this way of doing business I began to realise some very important things. Firstly the people that are successful and I mean truly successful have methods of attracting people to them. Secondly, very few people “prospects” are actual quality people that you have to talk to. Thirdly, you waste an incredible amount of time making phone calls, travelling to destinations, attending meetings, coaching your propectings, evaluating your business etc.

The statistics of those who are going to build a network marketing business and those that don’t just don’t add up. Why would you possible waste so much time with people who are never going to do anything? You’re meant to leverage the system, but I still see so many people spending more than full time hours trying to get their business off the ground, and yet most of their team fades away.

For most people this sad reality is simply enough and the fact of the matter is it was for me as well, additionally I had seen a better way and I headed back to it. The reality is that the internet has been around in a significant way for business in general for at least a decade, and yet very few companies within the network marketing industry have truly moved to embrace it. It has only been the moves of a couple of true leaders that have given hope to many struggling traditional network marketers, and hence have been the catalyst for inspiring me to inspire others as well.

Of those that fail traditionally, there are undoubtedly a large proportion that fail to see and treat their network marketing business as a real business and this is another pitfall with the traditional network marketing model. While following a system is important, following it completely blindly is detrimental to the ability for people to take ownership. Instead of making any decisions or being innovative, any new distributor is simply encouraged to put their list together, shut up and follow their upline’s instructions as to who to speak to and when to speak to them. The fact of the matter is, there are people who you instinctually feel it is appropriate or inappropriate to speak to about this business model and you shouldn’t feel pressure to speak to those that you don’t feel it is appropriate.

Although I have clearly found that there are a lot of negatives to the traditional network marketing model, the overwhelming positive that I have found is that having direct contact with people and surrounding yourself in real life with positive people is very important. This aspect is obviously something that the internet cannot replace and where traditional networking has a clear advantage of online network marketing.

Additionally the learning curve of becoming successful online is harder, there’s more to learn, there’s a lot of different trainings out there and without direction you can jump from training to training and end up with a massive headache without anything to show for it.

So you really must way up these pros and cons when ultimately making your decision about how to build your business. As a traditional business owner I know how much of an impact the internet is having on business and feel that some point in time the internet is going to have a massive impact on network marketing, as we already see it doing. The fact of the matter is, online network marketing is very much still in it’s infancy and that’s exciting.

In terms of overcoming the negatives of online network marketing, if your network marketing company has offline events, go to them, not every week but attend the key ones, like weekend seminars etc. Also start to attend other business seminars in particularly internet marketing events. Start to think and act like a business owner and therefore invest in offline events for your personal development. The next important aspect is to have a mentor or accountability partner for keeping you on track online and also helping you with your direction. You would do this in any traditional or network marketing business and this is therefore important for your online network marketing business.

Ultimately the decision is up to you, but no matter what make the decision for you, not your upline, not your company, but for you. For anymore information, to stay in contact with me, to get notified when I’m mentoring people or to get my free training feel free to click here.

Why you don’t have a network marketing sales funnel

Through working with my team and consulting with a number of people in the home based business industry, I often find it surprising that a lot of people within the network marketing industry don’t entirely understand the importance of an online sales funnel. However you look around at other industries and this seems to be a phenomenon that is congruent across both traditional and network marketing industries, with one important exception. In a traditional business sense the business owner has a service or product that they are offering, and hence they have a part of their sales funnel in place.

The underlying tendency for a network marketer online is to approach online the exactly the same way as they would approach offline MLM building. This is the ultimate cause of the problem, in other words there is a lack of strategy when it comes to their online sales funnel. When you look at offline network building strategies, it solely concentrates on the number of people you “expose” and therefore sponsor.

Let me tell you right now that these figures are almost irrelevant to your online network marketing sales funnel. When you are moving your business online, there are more figures you need to worry about, but this will ultimately increase the quality and quantity of people you sponsor. Initially you need to stop worrying about the number of people you are sponsoring, but instead, what process you are going to take your prospects through, what value you are going to offer, what makes you unique and how you are going to deliver that value. In other words you want to set your business up to the point where people are asking to join you instead of you having to chase people and find prospects.

Again this all comes back to your ability to deliver value; if you concentrate on delivering value then you can truly write your own ticket to a success MLM business and a successful network marketing sales funnel. The key ingredients you need as part of your sales funnel are free, low end, mid range and high end products, sponsoring people in your MLM should always be the last step in your funnel.

Before you continue you need to understand the key elements in a sales funnel, so make sure you check out my free audio training if you haven’t already done so, with much more exciting and free trainings to come  :) .

A useful tool for your online network marketing sales funnel

One of the most critical aspects to long term success in internet marketing, and in this respect in regards to network marketing online, is testing, tracking and tweaking your sales funnel. In particular, I wanted to give you an idea of why you need to be using one of Google’s lesser known online tools, Google Website Optimizer, with particular emphasis on testing your sales funnel.

Obviously when you have set out to start creating your online network marketing sales funnel you have done considerable research into your competition and target market, you’ve developed some highly targeted products and you’ve set up a process for your prospects to move through. However we all know that your target market, competition and business in general NEVER remain the same. There are always forces that act upon them that will change what they are looking for or how they operate. It is for this reason that you have a duty to YOUR network marketing business and in particular to your sales funnel to evolve and move with your target market, but stay ahead of your competition.

To stay ahead you need a sales funnel that ultimately converts better than your competition, and the way to do that is test everything you are doing, down to the minute details of your squeeze pages, sales pages and website in general. That’s exactly the mindset you need to take into your online network marketing.

So essentially what Google Website Optimizer allows you to do is run different versions of your different website pages, and each time it will randomly alternate the different versions of that page. What I recommend is taking one variable of the website, e.g. the title (it could be the content of the title or it could be the colour of the title) and then test your existing title with one or two alternatives. From there you wait until each page has been visited 400 times (why 400? Good question. But someone has actually tested how many website visitors you need to make an informed decision about what’s better and 400 come up as the key number).

In addition to Google Website Optimizer you should then be testing conversions with Google Analytics, therefore you will be able to differentiate how many opt ins came from the different versions of your website. In essence all you are doing is taking one element within your sales page or squeeze page and trying to improve it by testing different versions against each other. Very simple concept. Very few people do it and hence why so many people have in effective online network marketing sales funnels.
